Aberfeldy 21 Year Old Argentinian Malbec Wine Cask Finish is a limited-edition Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky crafted at Aberfeldy Distillery in Scotland. Distilled in 2001, the whisky matured for more than two decades in a combination of refill barrels and hogsheads before being finished for around eight months in French oak Malbec wine casks sourced from Finca Ambrosia in Argentina.
The Malbec finish introduces rich fruit character, with notes of blackberry, plum and black cherry alongside cocoa, floral violet and sweet spice. The profile develops with ripe strawberry, Highland honey, blackcurrant and cinnamon before settling into a creamy vanilla finish.
Aged 21 years and bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV), this 700ML limited-edition expression combines Aberfeldy’s signature Highland character with the influence of Argentinian Malbec casks.
