Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels is a distinctive Kentucky bourbon crafted in Louisville and enhanced through secondary maturation.
The bourbon is initially matured in new American white oak barrels before being finished for up to six additional months in Port wine barrels from Portugal. This finishing process adds layers of sweetness and complexity while preserving the bourbon’s underlying character.
Its profile features vanilla, ripe fruit, maple syrup, toast and bitter chocolate, followed by a clean, lingering sweetness with a subtle Madeira character. Bottled at 86.6 proof (43.3% ABV), this 750ML expression showcases Angel’s Envy’s signature approach to finished Kentucky bourbon.
