Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a high-rye Kentucky bourbon created with an approachable, refined character. Introduced by Booker Noe in 1992, its recipe uses a higher proportion of rye than a traditional bourbon, contributing additional spice while maintaining a smooth and balanced profile.
The aroma features charred oak, vanilla and caramel with hints of dried fruit. On the palate, charred oak is complemented by sweet brown sugar, light black pepper and dried fruit, followed by a lingering oak finish.
Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
