El Tesoro Mundial Collection Basil Hayden Toast Edition Reposado Tequila is a limited-edition expression from El Tesoro’s Mundial Collection. Crafted in Jalisco, Mexico, this special Reposado is aged for up to six months in Basil Hayden Toast oak barrels, which are toasted and then flash-charred to develop additional depth while preserving El Tesoro’s cooked-agave character.
Its official aroma profile includes cooked agave, fresh cherry, baked red apple, apricot, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, nutmeg, and toast. The palate adds cinnamon, white pepper, crème brûlée, dried fruit, honey, and herbal-floral notes, leading to a sweet and dry lingering finish. Bottled at 40% ABV / 80 proof, this 750ML release is a distinctive one-time cask-aged Reposado.
