Description

Karas Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2022 750ml is a dry Armenian white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grown in a single vineyard in the Ararat Valley, Armavir region. The vineyard’s volcanic soils include basalt, limestone, volcanic tuff, and alluvial stones, giving the wine a distinctive expression of its Armenian terroir. Bodega Fin del Mundo

The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected before fermentation, with approximately 30% fermented in oak barrels and 70% in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for around six months in Armenian and French oak. Its profile is described as smooth and balanced, with stone-fruit, floral, subtle nutty, and vanilla characteristics.
