Description

Khachen Areni Reserve 2021 750ml is a limited-production Armenian red wine made from 100% Areni Noir grown in Aghavnadzor, Vayots Dzor at approximately 1,400 meters elevation.

The wine is produced from hand-harvested fruit grown on rocky volcanic soils. After fermentation and malolactic fermentation, it is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels, followed by 6 months in stainless steel. The wine is bottled unfiltered.

It offers layered notes of black plum, Morello cherry, black pepper, and licorice, with a velvety texture, refined structure, and balanced finish.
