Bottled-in-Bond whiskey must come from one distiller and one distillation season and mature for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse.

Its profile leans toward caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, cinnamon, baking spice, citrus, and pepper, with the higher rye content giving it a noticeably spicy character.
