The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky aged for a minimum of 15 years. A portion of the whisky is selectively finished in French Limousin oak casks, a type of oak commonly associated with Cognac maturation. This finishing process adds distinctive nutty and spicy character while preserving The Glenlivet’s smooth, fruit-forward house style.
The official tasting profile features rich toffee and dark chocolate ginger-spiced biscuit aromas. On the palate, it develops ripe mango, warming cinnamon, almond, and fruit-and-nut notes, followed by a warm, mellow, spiced finish. Bottled at 40% ABV / 80 proof, this 750ML expression combines mature Speyside whisky character with the influence of French oak.
